The best brush for brow henna is the one that lets you place the colour exactly along the brow line. Della & Delle offers two for that job: the Safira, with a single angled tip, and the Brush 01, a double-ended brush with an angled end and a fine end. The short answer: pick the Safira for a simple, dependable everyday brush, and the Brush 01 if you want a fine end for detail on the same handle.
Both are designed to work with the Della & Delle Brow Henna, and both are arriving soon at Brow Lash World. You can sign up for the stock alert on each product page. Searching for “Della Delle brushes”? This is the comparison.
Safira and Brush 01 at a glance
| Brush | Ends | Best for |
|---|---|---|
| Safira Henna Brush | One angled tip | Applying henna and finishing the design; a simple everyday brush |
| Brush 01 Double-Ended | Angled end and fine end | Filling the brow and refining the outline and small gaps without switching tools |
Safira: one angled tip, two jobs
The Safira combines a modern design with a practical angled tip. According to the manufacturer it is made for applying henna and for finishing a brow design, helping you build an even, well-aligned brow.
An angled tip lets you place the henna precisely along the brow line. That is why the Safira works as a good everyday brush for professional brow artists and for experienced home users alike. If you want the details on this one, see our Safira henna brush article.
Brush 01: two tools on one handle
The Brush 01 is a double-ended brow brush. The angled end is made for henna application and helps with precision and even coverage. The fine end is for detail work: applying henna carefully in small areas and getting a clean finish.
In practice, you use the angled end to fill the brow with henna, dabbing lightly, then turn the brush and use the fine end for the outline and small gaps. You align the shape before the development time starts. You can fill and refine without switching tools, which keeps the application quick and even. More in our Brush 01 article.

Which one should you choose?
There is no wrong answer, because both have an angled working end suited to henna. The difference is the fine end.
- Choose the Safira if you want one straightforward brush for application and finishing, or a first henna brush.
- Choose the Brush 01 if your work involves lots of detail: sharp outlines, sparse areas, small gaps, and you prefer one tool in your hand.
- Choose both if you work in a salon. The manufacturer itself suggests the Brush 01 for when you also need a fine end next to the Safira.
As a rule, the brush will not replace technique. A well-mixed henna, a clean brow and a steady hand matter just as much as the tool.
Using both in one treatment
A typical workflow, kept general: map and align the shape, apply the henna with the angled end, refine the edges with the fine end, then let it develop for the time you chose. The development time depends on the intensity you want: 5 to 45 minutes (Black Intense: 3 to 45 minutes). Afterwards you remove the henna with cotton soaked in water. The full sequence is in our henna brows step by step guide.
For a clean outline after removal, the Henna Softener 30 ml works well with both brushes, as the manufacturer notes.
Care and patch test
As a rule, rinse your brush after each use and let it dry; for exact care, follow the product instructions. And whichever brush you use, always do a patch test first: henna on the forearm for 3 hours, then watch the area for 48 hours. Repeat it before every application.
The brushes are made for Della & Delle Brow Henna, one powder henna in five mixable shades and three jar sizes (1.5 g, 3 g and 8 g, around 15, 30 and 75 applications). Discover the full range on the Della & Delle brand page.
