Della & Delle Facial Scrub with Rice: Gentle Exfoliation for Sensitive Skin

Looking for a gentle facial scrub with rice that does not punish sensitive skin? The Della & Delle Facial Scrub (150 g) exfoliates with fine rice micro-granules. According to the product description, the particles are fine enough to work effectively without harming the skin barrier, so it can be used on all skin types, even the most sensitive.

If you know the brand as “Della Delle”, you are in the right place: it is the same Brazilian range of brow henna and skincare that is arriving soon at Brow Lash World. Below you will find what the scrub does, how to use it step by step and how to place it around a henna treatment. For the brand overview, see our Della & Delle brand page.

What the Della & Delle Facial Scrub does

The scrub removes dead cells from the skin surface. That supports skin renewal and helps to unclog pores. The result is a more even skin texture, as the product description puts it.

  • Rice micro-granules for gentle, effective exfoliation
  • Removes dead cells and impurities
  • Helps unclog pores
  • Suitable for all skin types, including sensitive skin
  • With white lily extract and rice extract (as listed on the pack)
  • 150 g

According to the manufacturer, the product is cruelty-free, vegan and PETA certified.

Why fine rice granules?

Exfoliating particles come in many sizes. Coarse ones can feel harsh, especially on delicate skin around the face. Here the particles are fine, which is exactly why the brand says the scrub can work without harming the skin barrier. As a rule, a gentle hand and light circular movements matter more than pressure: you are polishing the surface, not sanding it.

How to use it

The product description gives a simple routine:

  1. Apply a small amount to dry skin.
  2. Massage with gentle circular movements to exfoliate.
  3. Rinse the face to remove the granules and residue.
  4. If needed, follow with a facial cleanser.

Keep it away from the eyes. In case of contact, rinse immediately with water. Do not apply it to irritated or damaged skin, and if irritation occurs, stop use and seek medical advice. Store it in a cool place away from strong light.

Where the scrub fits around brow henna

Brow henna takes faster and lasts longer on clean, fully dry skin, according to the henna product description. Cleansing is therefore the core of skin prep, and the scrub is an optional extra, not a replacement for the cleanser.

Exfoliating is a separate step from cleansing, and it is worth keeping it separate in your treatment planning:

  • Never on irritated or damaged skin. This comes straight from the product’s safety text.
  • With sensitive skin, give it some space. As a rule, it is wiser not to scrub on the same day as a henna treatment, and many artists suggest doing it a little earlier. Follow your own judgement and the product instructions.
  • Do the patch test regardless. The henna asks for a patch test on the forearm for 3 hours, then 48 hours of watching the area, repeated before every application.

On the day itself, the usual prep is the cleansing mousse, then the tonic, then letting the skin dry completely. Our guide to skin prep before brow henna walks through the order, and the cleansing mousse article and cleansing tonic article cover the two products in detail.

A scrub for client home care

Because the scrub is made for all skin types, it is easy to recommend as part of a home routine. A simple, hedged suggestion: use it as an occasional extra rather than every day, and keep the daily routine to cleanser and tonic. Tell clients not to use it on skin that is red, sore or freshly treated.

If your clients ask what to do before their next henna appointment, the safest answer is the one on the pack: gentle circles, rinse thoroughly, and stop if the skin reacts.

The full Della & Delle skincare routine

The scrub sits alongside the Facial Cleansing Mousse (white lily extract, used morning and evening) and the Facial Cleansing Tonic (rice extract and D-Panthenol, alcohol and paraben free). Together they give you a complete cleanse, tone and polish routine for the studio and for clients at home. For the henna itself, see the Della & Delle Brow Henna guide.

FAQ

Is the Della & Delle Facial Scrub suitable for sensitive skin?

According to the product description, yes: the rice micro-granules are fine and the scrub is suitable for all skin types, even sensitive skin. It should still never be used on irritated or damaged skin.

How do I use the scrub?

Apply a small amount to dry skin, massage with gentle circular movements, rinse the face thoroughly and, if needed, follow with a facial cleanser.

Should I scrub right before brow henna?

As a general rule, treat exfoliation as a separate step and avoid it on the same day if the skin is sensitive. Clean, fully dry skin is what the henna needs, so cleanse and tone, then let the skin dry.

Does the scrub replace a cleanser?

No. The instructions say to follow with a facial cleanser if needed. The scrub exfoliates; the mousse and tonic do the cleansing.
