What the Brush 01 is
Two tools on one handle. The angled end is made for henna application and helps with precision and even coverage. The fine end is for detail work, so you can place henna carefully in small areas and get a clean finish.
It is designed to work with Della & Delle Brow Henna, which comes in 1.5 g, 3 g and 8 g jars (same henna, five mixable shades).
The angled end: filling the brow
Use the angled end to fill the brow with henna, dabbing lightly. A dabbing motion is usually easier to control than long strokes, and it tends to give an even layer. As a rule, work along the brow line first, then fill the body of the brow.
Mix the henna as described in the product instructions before you start. If you are new to the product, the step-by-step henna brow guide covers the full treatment from patch test to aftercare.
The fine end: outline, gaps and details
Switch to the fine end to work on details, the outline and small gaps. This is where a fine tip helps most: the tail, the lower edge, the area between hairs and any spot where the angled end would be too broad.
- Clean up the outline of the shape.
- Fill small gaps without overloading the area.
- Refine the start and the tail of the brow.
Align the shape before the development time starts
The product instructions are clear on this point: align the shape before the development time starts. Check symmetry while the henna is still fresh, correct with the fine end, and only then let the henna develop. Development times depend on the shade and the result you want, so follow the product instructions.
Always carry out a patch test before the treatment, and repeat it before every application.
One brush, no switching tools
With an angled end and a fine end on one handle, you can fill and refine the brow without switching tools. That keeps the application quick and even, which matters when the henna is already on the skin and the clock is running. It is also practical on a crowded treatment tray.
In practice this suits a quick workflow: fill the body of the brow, switch ends, define the edges, check both brows side by side, and only then start the clock. Keeping everything in one hand also means fewer tools to clean and less chance of henna ending up where it should not.
Brush 01 or Safira?
Della & Delle also offers the Safira Henna Brush, which has one angled tip for henna application or finishing. The Brush 01 adds the fine end for detail work. If you want both in one tool, choose the Brush 01; if you like a single angled tip, the Safira does that job. Many artists keep both. Our comparison Safira vs Brush 01 goes through the differences.
