Noemi Cream Filler (Hot Pink) and Vitamin Brow & Lash Filler for brow lamination

Brow Lamination Filler: Noemi Cream Filler vs Vitamin Filler

A brow lamination filler is a conditioning care step applied during a lamination, usually after the hair has been reshaped and set, and before the final care step. Its job is to put nourishment back into hair that has just been through a chemical process, so the brows look smoother, fuller and better cared for when the client leaves.

Noemi offers two fillers for this step: the Cream Filler (Hot Pink) with pea proteins, vitamin B5, vitamin E and olive oil, and the Vitamin Brow & Lash Filler with keratin and jojoba proteins, vitamins and three natural oils. Both are used between step 2 and step 3 of a brow lamination, or as a treatment on their own, on brows and lashes.

This guide explains where a filler fits, how to apply it, how to choose between the two, and how to turn it into a paid upgrade or a stand-alone conditioning service.

What is a filler in brow lamination?

A classic lamination works in stages: a first lotion softens the hair so it can be reshaped, a second lotion sets the new direction, and a final step cares for the hair. A filler is an extra care product that slots into this sequence.

The idea is simple. Lamination asks a lot of the hair, and many artists like to give it a concentrated dose of care while the client is still in the chair. The filler does not change the shape you have created; it conditions the hair you have just shaped.

Why lamination clients benefit from a filler step

Brow lamination is popular with clients who have unruly, sparse or downward-growing brows. These clients often come back every few weeks, so the condition of their hair matters over time, not just on the day.

  • Care during the service: the filler adds a nourishing step at the point where the hair has just been processed.
  • A finished look: the Cream Filler forms a protective film on the hair, which the product description links to more volume and a plump, even structure.
  • A natural upgrade: it gives you a clear add-on to offer without changing your lamination technique.

Where the filler sits in the brow lamination sequence

Both Noemi fillers are designed to be used between step 2 and step 3 of a brow lamination. If you want a refresher on the full service, our brow lamination step by step guide walks through prep, lotions, timing and finishing.

In a classic three-step lamination

In a three-step system, step 1 softens the hair, step 2 fixes the new shape, and step 3 nourishes. The filler goes in after step 2 has been removed and before step 3. Our article on lash lift lotions explained describes what each of those steps does.

With a two-step system such as Noemi Innovate

The Noemi Innovate system works with a cysteamine Step 1 and a Step 2 Fix, with a processing time of 8–12 minutes on lashes and brows. As a rule, the filler comes after Step 2 has been cleaned off, as the care step before your final cream. Always follow the instructions included with the lotions you use. Our Noemi Innovate Step 1 and Step 2 Fix guide covers that system in detail.

Whatever system you work with, do a patch test and follow the product instructions before any chemical service.

Noemi Cream Filler (Hot Pink): rich cream care

The Cream Filler is a rich, hot pink care product made to nourish lashes and brows as much as possible. According to the product description, it repairs damaged hair, gives it a plump and even structure, and forms a strong molecular film that adds volume and protects against external aggressions.

Its key ingredients are pea proteins, vitamin B5, vitamin E and olive oil. The coloured cream makes it easy to see where you have applied it, which helps you cover every hair evenly.

Many artists reach for the Cream Filler when they want a fuller-looking finish and when the brows feel thin or stressed after processing.

Cream Filler vs Vitamin Filler: how to choose

FillerKey ingredientsWhen to use it
Cream Filler (Hot Pink)Pea proteins, vitamin B5, vitamin E, olive oilBetween step 2 and 3 of brow lamination or on its own, when you want a protective film and a plumper, more even look
Vitamin Brow & Lash FillerHydrolyzed keratin and jojoba proteins, vitamins A, B, E, provitamin B5, three natural oilsBetween step 2 and 3 of brow lamination or on its own, for dry or stressed hair after a lift, and as a home-care serum

A practical way to decide:

  • Choose the Cream Filler when the priority is a fuller, smoother finish and a protective film on the hair.
  • Choose the Vitamin Filler when the client’s hair feels dry and you want a protein-and-vitamin treatment you can also recommend for home.
  • Many studios keep both and choose per client, noting the choice on the client card so the next appointment is consistent.

How to apply a filler during brow lamination

Exact amounts and times depend on the product, so follow the instructions included with your filler. The general workflow most artists use looks like this:

  1. Remove step 2 completely. Clean the fixing lotion off the brows with a damp pad or micro brush, without disturbing the shape.
  2. Keep the brows in position. If you work with a silicone brow patch, it can stay in place to hold the hair.
  3. Apply a thin, even layer. Use a clean micro brush or spoolie and coat every hair from root to tip. More product does not mean more care.
  4. Comb through. Brush the filler through in the direction you have laminated, so it reaches the hair without changing the shape.
  5. Leave it as instructed. Respect the time given in the product instructions.
  6. Remove and continue. Take off the excess and move on to step 3 or your final care step.

Using a filler on lashes

Both fillers are made for lashes too. After a lash lift, many artists apply a filler at the same point in the sequence as on the brows, before the final nourishing step.

On lashes, apply very little product, keep it away from the waterline, and work with the client’s eyes closed. Use a thin brush and coat the lashes on the pad or rod without pushing them out of shape.

Offering the filler as an upgrade or a stand-alone treatment

Because the filler adds care without changing your technique, it is easy to add to your service menu.

As a lamination upgrade

Offer it as an optional care step during booking or consultation. Explain in simple terms that it adds a dose of care to the hair during the lamination. Describe it honestly as a care step and avoid promising specific results.

As a stand-alone conditioning treatment

Both fillers can be used on their own. This works well for clients between laminations, or for those who want care for their brows or lashes without a lift. Pair it with a brow shape or tint appointment so the visit stays short and simple.

Common mistakes with brow and lash fillers

  • Applying over leftover lotion: clean step 2 off first so the filler sits on clean hair.
  • Using too much: a thick layer is harder to remove and can weigh the hair down.
  • Brushing against the shape: always comb in the laminated direction.
  • Skipping the final step: the filler adds care, it does not replace step 3 or your final cream.

Aftercare with Argan Creme

The filler supports the hair during the service. At home, the client needs ongoing care. The Noemi Brow & Lash Argan Creme is a final-step cream for lashes and brows after colouring and lamination, with argan oil, castor oil, olive oil, rosehip oil and vitamin E. It is gentle enough for daily use and easy to recommend for home.

Show the client how much to use and how to brush it through. Between appointments, a styling product helps keep the shape tidy; our brow soap guide explains how many artists use it for a laminated look.

Building your brow lamination station

A filler works best as part of a well-organised lamination setup. The Noemi Innovate duo packs (Step 1 and Step 2, 2 x 10 ml each, vegan) suit studios that perform many lifts and laminations, since both steps work on lashes and brows with the same 8–12 minute processing time.

The Silicone Brow Patch for Lamination holds the brow hairs in place for even product distribution. It is reusable, can be washed with warm water and mild soap or disinfected according to professional hygiene standards, and can stay on while you apply the filler.
