A good lash lift kit is more than two bottles of lotion. The lotions do the chemistry, but the result depends just as much on the accessories: the pad or rod that sets the curl, the balm that holds each lash, the brush, the timer and the aftercare. This guide is a buying checklist for a professional lash lift set: every item a lash station needs, why, which product we stock for the job and what you will reorder most often.

What a professional lash lift kit needs: the checklist

Print this list or keep it on your phone when you set up a station or check stock. Items are grouped in the order you reach for them.

• Prep: lash shampoo, lint-free applicators, a headband for the client
• Protection: under-eye gel patches or a lower lash patch, eyelid lifting tapes, a tape dispenser
• Shaping: silicone pads in several sizes and curl profiles, rods for the Korean method, lower lash pads
• Fixing: a glue balm, or a glue-free system
• Lotions: a lifting step, a fixing step and, depending on the system, a nourishing step
• Application tools: disposable mini brushes, a precision brush, a lash comb or lifting tool
• Processing: a dual timer and narrow plastic wrap
• Aftercare: a nourishing lash cream for the final step and for home care
• Optional: lash tint if you offer lift and tint, hydrogel patches as an upgrade

Lash lift lotions: one item, many systems

Every lash lift set is built around a lotion system, but choosing one is a question of chemistry rather than accessories. Our article on cysteamine vs thioglycolate explains the difference. Use one system from start to finish, follow the manufacturer’s processing times and run a patch test before the first appointment. Do not lift lashes on clients with eye infections, irritation or recent eye surgery.

Buying a complete lash lift kit vs building your own set

You can start with a complete kit, where the lotions are matched for you, and add accessories around it. Or you can build your own set piece by piece, choosing pads, rods and fixing products for the clients you actually see.

When a complete kit makes sense

A kit is the easiest start for a new lash artist: the lotions belong together, so results stay consistent. Our kits differ quite a lot:

When to build your own lash lift set

Building your own makes sense once you know your clientele: long, downward-growing lashes or hooded eyes call for specific pads and rods. Experienced artists keep one lotion system they trust and invest in shields, a fixing product and small tools. Most salons combine both: a kit as the base, plus the accessories below.

Silicone pads and shields: sizes and curl profiles

Pads decide the curl. One box rarely covers every client, so keep at least two profiles: one for short lashes and one for long, layered or downward-growing lashes. Choose the size by lash length and eye shape.

• Silicone pads 2.0 Premium (8 pairs): a boosted lift with S to XL or a softer rounded effect with S1 to XL1, for long and downward-growing lashes.
• Rainbow pads (6 pairs, SS to XL): for short lashes and a strong, defined lift.
• Pinky (4 pairs) and Elasticky (6 pairs): for long, layered and downward-growing lashes.
• Multi Color Soft pads: an all-round set with six upper sizes plus one lower-lash pair.

Lower lash pads

Lower lashes frame the eye too. Lash lift rods for the Korean method

Rods are thinner and more sculpted than classic pads. Glue, glue balm or glue-free?

Something has to hold the lashes on the pad while the lotion works:

• Glue balm: Noemi Glue Balm Strong holds lashes firmly, even stubborn or slippery ones. It does not dry completely during the treatment, so you can still adjust. 15ml lipstick format or 25ml can.

Application tools, timer and protection

Brushes

Disposable mini brushes (50 pieces) apply balm and lotion precisely and keep hygiene simple: one brush per step, per client. For Korean lifts, the Early King Brush has a 1.2cm flat edge and firm bristles that tension a wide section of lashes against the rod in one stroke, so lashes do not criss-cross at the root.

Dual timer and plastic wrap

What to restock most often

Pads, rods, the timer, the King Brush and the tape cutter last a long time if cleaned properly. You mainly reorder consumables; check these weekly:

• Mini brushes and plastic wrap, used for every client
• Glue balm or balm, which goes faster than you expect
• Lotions, especially once opened: follow the manufacturer’s shelf-life instructions
• Gel patches, eyelid tapes and lash shampoo
• Argan Creme, for the treatment and for retail
